Actually, the spread just moved down to one and a half. What do the wiseguys know? Is it because of Pool possibly missing the game?
a missing safety that no one has ever heard of isnt going to drop the line. People have simply been betting on Baltimore.
0-2 start for the over hyped Jets. Tonight they go down 17-10. Sanchez throws 2 picks. Neither team runs the ball tonight. Flacco is a better QB at this time and he has better weapons. I'll be back to eat crow if I'm wrong.
I hate to say it, but this is pretty much exactly how I see it. I do think they bounce back from the 0-2 start however and still have a good season.
Me too. If someone could offer me a 3-3 start with our schedule, I'd take it at this point. This really is a tough way to start the year. On the bright side, a lot can happen in a season and I think that Sanchez will show steady improvement throughout the year. And yes, the Jets are way overhyped. Even the most die hard Jet fan should be able to admit that.
1.5-0 Jets in OT. Folk hits the upright and after a few bounces off the cross bars, it lands flat and still on the goal post. Refs give Jets half the points for a FG to end the game.
half time--- RAVENS 7 JETS 6 final score--- JETS 20 RAVENS 13 i think the jets will be pretty conservative in the first half, where the ravens will get their only TD on a screen to rice. in the second half i think green wears down the ravens D a little bit and LT busts a nice TD run. sanchez will throw a second half TD pass either on a bomb to braylon or on a 3rd and goal to keller...
I think this was predicted in every prediction thread last year so i'm gonna keep the tradition going if nobody has. Gholston gets his first NFL sack Other than that I see the game being in the mid twenties 27-24 or something along those lines. Both defenses could score a touchdown in this game and at the very least I expect each D will set up their offense with field position inside their opponents 30. I also think that both offenses have enough talent to get into scoring range a few times and get a touchdown or two as well. Jets win of course.
When I predict the Jets to win they usually do the opposite. Therefore, Ravens 30 Jets 3. Sanchez with 5 picks zero TDs. The Ravens dare Sanchez to throw and Sanchez gets turned into Sanchez and jets are not happy. Rice spreads out the Jets defense by catching screens and short passes. Neutralizing the jets pass rush. Allowing the Ravens to run and pass at will. My biggest fear besides Sanchez playing like Sanchez is containing Ray Rice. A potentially very bad match-up for the Jets.
