That "performance" by Dallas has to be one of the worst displays of football I've ever seen.

It was only fitting the game ended with Alex Barron called for yet another hold.

That call at the end of the first half had exactly 0% chance of working and could only end badly. I laughed the whole time Hall returned the fumble for a TD.

I thought Dallas was a SB contender. Sure didn't look like it tonight.

Oh and James Harrison returned a Kurt Warner Interception 100 yards for a score on the final play of the first half in Super Bowl 43. I submit that for being one of the most if not THE most recent time the first half ended on a defensive TD like that.

Tonight's game was absolute shit with an entertaining ending. Both sides spent more time competing over who can make more mistakes than they did competing over who was the better football team.

People are gonna kill Wade Phillips for this one, but his defense did their jobs perfectly. It was Jason Garrett's offense that once again couldn't stop shooting itself in the foot.

Exactly! Garrett has done far more to hurt the Cowboys than Wade.

The only problem is that Garrett is a favorite of Jerry Jones so it's not like Phillips can get rid of him.

Romo would have been sacked because Orakpo completely destroyed Barron right off of the whistle. Barron was the most penalized player in the NFL because he is a shit OT who gets beat and has to resort to holding to keep his QB from getting killed.

Amazing that he almost won the Oultand trophy in college.

Like Westhoff said, that's the difference between a college player and a pro player.

Except Barron wasn't an OK player on a national championship team. He was one of the best offensive lineman in the NCAA that year. Now he's the most popular death threat depository in Dallas.

The funniest part is that he ruined one of the few great plays Roy Williams has ever made in a Cowboys uniform up until this point. It's not like he gets too many of opportunities to prove he's actually worth anything to the team.

The Cowboys look like the old Jets, and have done so for the past 5 years.

I wonder if he was just another guy who was big with zero technique. That'll get you by in college. This is a craft business in the NFL. And he is shit at his craft.

I can't believe he still has a job. He kills drives all the time.

No, he's actually very athletic. His combine numbers were better than Brick's. He's just a shit football player who probably doesn't put in the work.
    Which ones?

Aside from prove that he was supposed to have more going for him than 6'8"? Not very much.

You said it yourself: it's a craft. Barron either isn't honing it or simply can't.

This isn't a guy who got drafted based on combine numbers alone.

It's quite surprising the way he's failed given how well he played against top competition in college. He was a tackle at FSU and was one of three finalists for the Outland.

Could be that he just hasn't put in the effort, as was suggested earlier.

Also see this Bowden quote and this Orlando Sentinel piece.

Dexter McCluster takes a punt 94 yards to the house.

    Longest PR in Chiefs history.

    21-7

But it is what it is.

remember, punt returners are usually told not to attempt to return a punt inside their 10 yard line

Javier Arenas looking pretty damn beastly in this game so far. I know a bunch of you guys loved him coming out of college.

And, btw, the way this game had gone up to now, if anyone was going to break a punt or kickoff, my bet would have been Javier Arenas. He's had a couple near misses. Funny how things work out.
