The Gameday guys poo-pooed it. I doubt there's any evidence that they actually oversaw practice, and didn't just chill with the guys.
I'm not sure how they're going to get anything out of this. The camp was only open to family, so they can't possibly have any eyewitness accounts unless Bob Johnson decides to flip on Sanchez. Fat chance of that ever happening.
They should get Cam Cameron to investigate. I'm sure if you watch hard knocks enough they left all the evidence on that whiteboard.
It most likely was a team within the division. I really do not care, let another team be a bunch of petty douchebags. It's actually funny that another team would even bother......... Who would go to such lengths?
Hey, if we broke the rules, we broke the rules. The Jets know what they can and can't do. If they messed up, they deserve punishment just like any other team would. If they didn't do anything to break the rules, that's different. Hopefully it'll just be a fine.
exactly. i think the spirit of the rule is a little different from what happened. someone's being silly and petty.
The Ravens, Raiders, Lions and Jaguars were the most recent teams docked for OTA violations and they lost a weak of practice in the offseason for it. Granted, those teams were docked for practice intensity and not unauthorized coach participation or whatever the Jets would be guilty of. Still, they didn't lose money or draft picks. I really don't see the Jets losing draft picks for this.
