I think Schotty refered to Woodhead as LaDainian. He said to Rex, "Do you want to keep LaDainian in there?" Refering to the comparison they had on an earlier Hard Knock episode saying if Woodhead played in the early NFL they'd be saying Tomlinson runs like Woodhead. Thought that was cool.
I agree. I even said much the same to my son as we were watching. I can empathize with him, but it was a bit mean-spirited to do to his wife. Didn't he refuse to even answer his phone? Technically he was still on the bubble at the time, but yes. I'm pretty sure none of it said he made the cut. It was clear she was trying to show that her and their child were proud of him for his effort. It's exactly what I'd expect from my wife in the same situation. Just like in the days leading up to layoffs at my job my wife is always reassuring me that everything is going to be fine.
Holy man...she had misguided faith he'd make the team. But she had faith. Positive thinking no matter how you churn it. Rex would approve....move on. CW's didn't wanna celebrate early and rightfully so. He was on friggin camera....awkward.
My favorite part last night was....... "Hey this is easy, you suck Shotty." Lol he may not a good QB,yet but he certainly is funny. Weird but my one selfish wish is, I was hoping they showed Rex coaching more because I think people are getting the wrong impression that he is just a clown, even though they cut one. Nothing could be further from the truth.
BTW lay off the dudes wife. She doesn't know any better. I am sure everyone's wife had a facepalm moment, no big deal. It's not like she was blowing random guys after a lapdance or she stabbed and killed someone in a night club.
Did anyone else get the feeling as thought the revis holdout was planned just so they could have that ending to the show? I know it wasn't planned, but it almost seems like it.
HBO was paying Revis' agents under the table to prolong the holdout until right before filming for the last episode was finished. Or his agents are just assholes.
No, this is the NFL, not the WWE or Keeping up with the Kardashians. Rex would've killed to have Revis in camp.
It's the same handfull of assholes. They are always the first ones to ruin threads with personal insults and name calling. Now player's wives are fair game too. Imagine if she happened to read any of this shit? For baking a cake? And making a sign with Washington's kid? Just to try and cheer up her husband? Sad, really. Some people have such suck ass lives they can only feel better about themselves by attacking others. Pitiful.
Some wives are fair game. Like Charity Washington, who puts herself out there via Twitter and needles our fans and our team consistently. Chauncey Washington's wife, on the other hand, did nothing wrong. I don't get it either. My take was that they were having the BBQ on Saturday night. He wasn't cut until Sunday. Why wouldn't his wife be excited? She probably thought he was safe since he made it onto the initial 53 man roster.
Oh, Jason Davis's wife is fair game too. Not for being a bitch, but for being a big time attorney (his words) who let herself get captured on camera as she was about to get fucked in a college dorm room.
