More excuses from Jason Davis 09/08/2010 10:55 PM ET I hav never been a quitter just want that out there. It was a scout team rep after I hurt my ankle. A rep nonetheless but not a quitter! I thought he was being removed from the twitter feed on the main page?
Unless this was from a different part of practice, he said "we're not promised to be here" after Chauncey told him not to quit

Yeah....the Revis stuff was edited out of sequence. That was some earlier meeting. The FL meeting happened Sunday night.
It's amazing how much Rex seems to be rubbing off on Woody. Tanny pissed me off less this episode. He must have watched the last episode and saw what a prick he seemed like. I wasn't back in the Revis camp until watching this episode: - Driving in the car on the way to the facility, "I can't wait, I can't wait." - Head bowed as if finally exhaling, "Jets on three. 1 2 3 Jets!" I hope he rewatches every episode, reflects on the past couple months, and fires his douchebag agents.
looking back on hard knocks i have come to like rex ryan more than i ever have and to absolutely hate mike tannenbaum and woody johnson more than i ever have. both of them are really douchebags. they sure did talk alot of shit about revis this show, guess they figured the no talk agreement was up after he signed.
Maybe you are right....but I still think some of that was edited out of order. EDIT - but that Rex flip out was at the Jets facility (Tanny's fish tank was in that scene)
I'm surprised there was no mention of the T-Rich release/re-sign. Wow, you basically said all I came in here to post myself. When Darelle exhaled and led the chant to end the episode, I said to myself, "You know, it's almost as if Revis really wanted to be back with the team a lot earlier than Monday. Granted, I'm sure he wanted more money, but I feel that his agents wanted him to hold out for as long as he did."
I think they had the meeting than they went home and one of Revis' agents was on speakerphone and that's when Rex flipped out on the guy
Yeah, I can only imagine (not going to research it now) that this must be the biggest deal they have done to date. Getting every penny they could was the only goal they ever had. Money is not all there is to life, and it's obvious whenever you hear Revis speak. How about Tanny saying "Why couldn't we have done this months ago?" To me that was quite telling. I heard there were both short term and long term deals on the table the whole time. I can hear Tanny sitting down to negotiate... "Yeah, we'll give Revis more than Aso, but only while Aso is getting this bullshit money. After that he gets more than the next guy, because no way in hell anyone is paying Aso that much 2 years from now. OR... You could stop being fucking idiots and set your client up for life with a 10 year deal at $12 million a year."
Sanchez has a future as an OC  Calling plays isn't an exact science......I'm glad the CS gave him the opportunity to experience that part of the game....that will help further his QB development
