Antonio Cromartie said that the Jets were like the Miami Heat of the NFL with all the talent they have and it might be true, but who is the most underrated player the Jets have right now? No one talks about them, but they are important for the team winning.

Who do you think and why?

    David Harris

he's been flying under the radar basically his entire career....nobody outside the NY media or TGG ever talks about this guy.....but he's an important cog in Rex's defensive machine.

I think Harris' importance is known for sure. I agree though, he is very underrated in terms of the NFL.

In that list, DeVito. E. Smith is a close second.

I expect DeVito to be here for a long time.

I don't think Harris is under the radar anymore. People know if him, but the combination of this team being so loaded and him not being outspoken keeps his name out of the media.

It's also hard to get your name mentioned on a defense with the likes of Revis and Jenkins, perhaps the best in the league at their positions.

Moore without a doubt. With the inexperience at the other guard spot, we can't afford to lose him!

    Other - Braylon Edwards

Everyone is expecting him to repeat last year and continue his boneheaded drops. I'm expecting him to emerge as one of the league's elite receivers.

Moore, no doubt. He makes the running game go.

If Pouha plays like he did last year, then it's absolutely him. I'm voting for him, but I'd like to see him do that again.

There was a similar poll to this a long time ago on this thread. And my answer now is the same as it was then: Brandon Moore. He's one of the better run-blocking guards in the NFL and he almost never gets mentioned.

I saw enough articles about David Harris to not think he is underrated any more. I voted DeVito because he is consistently in on plays and is always strong at the point of attack. I never see him make a mistake (not to say he never does). I've always been a Brandon Moore supporter and I think he is way underated. Pouha also is underated. He did a fantastic job last year filling in for Jenks.

    Other: Jerricho Cotchery.

Bart Scott deserves more credit than he gets as well. He's really the key to our entire defense.

I thought about putting him on the poll, but he is talked about enough compared to the others, but yeah he is underrated for sure. I have heard at least 3 interviews of his this week though, thats why I didn't include him.

Another vote for Harris. Not really close, either, IMO.
