Ended up with Matt Ryan, Vince Young and David Garrard.....6pt TdS WRs are nice since it is a 0.5 PPR: Calvin Johnson, Roddy White, Wes Welker RBs nice too, I got MJD and Steven Jackson. Then at TE is Gates and my flex will either be Reggie Bush, Ricky Williams or Marion Barber. Backup WRs are Eddie Royal and Lee Evans. Dallas is the D. I might need to trade for a better QB at some point but I am hoping VY gets it this year and I think with the solid running attack he will be fine.
I think you did well. I'm in a 12 man league and I felt no choice but to get a QB in the 2nd round. But I sacrificed in the 5th by being the 1st to pick Defense, and guess who I picked? That watered down my WR's and RB's but I think I'm actually pretty solid. Might not be a superstar lineup but consistent performers and some sleepers in there. Just dropped Boss and picked up Kenny Britt on the waiver wire. Don't need the extra TE right now and my WR's are looking a little weak. Good RB's seem hard to come by once you negate the top 5.
No man all the other guys had a hard on for QBs early so I picked other positions and took advantage.
Just did a draft where everyone was over valuing qb's. 3 qb's were off the board in the first round and i think the top 7 were all gone by the end of the second round. I just ended up drafting for value and ended up with Mcnabb as my only qb. I plan on hoping Mcnabb can hold down the fort for a few weeks until one of the guys with not wr or rb depth realizes they are screwed. I think you will be probably benefit from a similar strategy if you are looking to upgrade at QB.
