Why are you so sure he wouldn't hold out in 2012 after taking his 18M bonus in 2011. He has to make the calculation, can I get more than 7.5 + 6.0 in '12 & '13 + free agency, or can I get more with a new deal for 2013 + 2014 + whatever

I'm not saying he will hold out again, but you shouldn't be so sure that he can't or wouldn't. Revis wants to get paid and if he feels underpaid he's not just going to be quiet about it

I'm not saying he will, but yes if a couple of cornerbacks get 20M contracts and he's still the top shutdown CB in the NFL of course he's holding out in 2012. Do you not know Revis by now?

Do you not know Tanny by now? Do you think he'd make the same mistake twice? He's taking advantage of re-allocation to get Revis his fully guaranteed money. I'd be very surprised if he didn't take advantage of it to protect the team, too.

He didn't misread anything, unless you somehow operate on a different percent system than the rest of us.

I didn't misread anything. The quotes are only a few posts up for you to look at if you forgot.

unless you mean to say that if Revis all of a sudden sucks in two years he won't hold out again. you probably wouldn't have bothered posting anything at all if all you were gonna do is argue an obvious point with all of us.

It seems like it's only one dude and he is just arguing to argue at this point.

Why are people even worried about a holdout? ANYTHING can happen between now and then.

    Yup.

When he gets to week 4 without a Hamstring injury and we're 3-0...

It'll all be good in Jets Nation.

Continue to talk shit about the teams best player, because you talked so much shit in 3 weeks it could fill up the new stadium. Typical.

so your argument depends on a scenario that is wholly unlikely and then think it is supposed to be taken seriously? if a couple of corners get $20 million contracts, not only should he holdout again but I'll personally deliver him food while he holds out.
