Well the knees plus he's off the steroids now. I really have no idea who this could be, if he's really got some real information anyway. I would guess a DL who was in danger of being cut by his team or maybe an Adalius Thomas signing. Can't imagine it being a real significant move like a Merriman or an established player. Would have to be a fringe guy who is on the outs with his team or someone on the tail end of their career like Thomas.
I got Steven Bowen from the Cowboys. Good depth guy on the DL. Mean SOB. SD has a lot of people who could fill the void at LB.. but the Jets aren't hurting at LB minus Pace being hurt.... This is a tough find.
Spears is possible. I think they might have shopped him before. I can't remember but I know his spot wasn't totally secure. He ain't cheap though.
I wasn't aware of that. Now I like the deal even more. I doubt he would be getting a big deal from the Cards after they took Dan Williams in the first. Then again they did just draft a player in the first at his position. He hasn't been what Cardinals wanted him to become but I would love to see what Rex can do with him. Still, complete speculation.
Weight problems have caused him to not be that good over there, but Tanny knows how to deal with overweight players and Rex can get the best out of anyone.
It certainly would be an exciting thought. Especially reuniting him with his former Wolverine teammate. He and Harris were both great forces in that defense. Throw a few weight clauses in a new contract like the Jets did for Jenkins and he's golden.
If it took him until midnight tonight to figure that out than there is a huge problem with that guy. Especially with the "Jets are working the phones" comment.
Well, we did just lose Pitouitua and Ellis isn't a lock to be resigned next season. We could certainly use the help. Fuck it, it's probably a punter...on Jeff Weeks' Madden franchise.
