I'm way more worried about Haloti Ngata.

Ferguson should be able to handle Terrell Suggs.

 

yeah...Ngata certainly needs to be paid attention to. I'm sure Mangold can handle him...but he's made some plays against us before....like that pick 6 he had against us (I can't believe i said "pick 6" when referring to a NT).

 

The scary thing is, Ngata's not a nose tackle. He's a defensive end - that's why I'm worried.

Nick Mangold will be blocking Kelly Gregg - and he'll probably completely destroy Gregg all game long.

I'm worried about Slauson getting knocked around by a 340 pound freak of an athlete.

 

do K.Gregg and H.Ngata rotate the NT position? I thought Ngata played NT. Jesus....if Ngata is playing DE.....Slauson better bring his A+ game.

Electric is right...Ngata playing DE against Slauson is a concern for the oline.....if he makes Slauson his bitch, let's hope the Terminator has Ngata targeted for termination before he gets to Sanchez.

If he gets off cleanly from Slauson, Conner can cut block him. As long as he doesn't mind having 300+ pounds of blob falling on him, Ngata will get tired of it very quickly.

It's not Ngata's pass rush that's a concern for you guys, it's the penetration he'll get when you try and run the ball.

Ngata is coming in motivated. He had an off year last season and wants to bounce back strong in 2010.

Also, on run plays, Connor's priority will be some guy named Ray Lewis...Slauson is on his own. LOL. And that's probably a death sentence.

 

If we're running left, Conner just has to get a chip assist on Ngata en route to Lewis. You're acting like blocking is a one or the other proposition in our offense.
