I would have loved to be a fly on the wall at that meeting between Rex, Woody, Revis, his Mom and Uncle Sean.
They totally shoulda kept it on the DL, then just had Revis come out out of the blue vs the pats in week 2 and shock the shit out of them and completely catch them off their guard
Yeah sign to a 46 million and then shock the world by holding him out of the Ravens game makes sense to me..... Shock the world baby. lol
Anyone have a list of the biggest contracts in NFL history, by guaranteed money? I think Bradford set the record this year with $50 mil. But Revis' $32 mil must be in the top 10.
Somebody needs to make a LOST season 2 poster featuring Boldin, Moss, Marshall, Jennings, C. Johnson, A. Johnson, Ochocinco, and Ward.
Best Labor Day Barbecue news of my life... Revis signing. At an awesome rate too 11.5/yr instead of the advertised 16+/yr. That 32 guaranteed is fine by me if its a signing bonus. The guy deserves it if he puts those numbers up consistently
Funny that it seems as the holdout lingered on this little facet seemed to be forgotten a bit. When this all started, the fact that he wouldn't be able to teach Wilson in TC/preseason was one of the biggest gripes many posters had about Revis' holdout.
