No way. I've liked that poster in the past, but if he completely flipped like that, I might have to write something to him.

He was the guy who said he will boo Revis unmercifully even if he signs.

call me an optimist, but seeing the numbers of this deal are pretty exciting...then again maybe i'm missing something

from an overall franchise standpoint, my next question is how much money we have available to sign harris and the rest of our expiring contracts (holmes, braylon, cromartie, etc.)

YES!!! Just got home from a party. Honestly, the past 30 days or so I'd come home and hope I saw on ESPN that Revis got signed. Today it finally happened! J-E-T-S!!!!

What's the deal with the story that Rex went down to Florida to pitch him to sign?

It was some story that this dude Geiger Puck broke last week. He is going to be the new beat writer as he was the only person this side of Revis that knew where he was....

either Revis did an absolute about face from his original demands, or the reports simply weren't accurate. either way this is a great deal for both parties.

now we can return to our regularly scheduled program.

My guess is the same as it's been for weeks: he took the best deal on the table by his deadline.

which means his goal all along was to be here for the season, that's all that matters. I don't see how anyone can criticize him now. I'll apologize for him -- sorry Revis ruined anyone's preseason.

This deal is insane. I have no idea why Revis agreed to $46 mil contract over 4 years. The 10 years $122 mil contract sounded better, but I guess Revis is betting on a new contract after 4 years which would more than equal the 10 years $122 mil contract he was initially offered as per the reports.

Kyle Wilson will have to wait his turn to take a jab at Mason or Boldin.
