Every post of yours in that thread was you being an asshole. Are you really shocked that it gets turned around on you? How about this when I said the Jets wouldn't have to overpay:
why is everyone so afraid of the Ravens? Is anyone listening to this pussy Jets fan on Wfan crying about the Jets needing TRich for the Ravens?
Haha, that guy was an idiot. "THE TERMINATOR? but you can't stop YOU NEED A RAY LEWIS haha bart scott? but your TONY richardson best BLOCKER and what about Kendall!"
Highly unlikely, despite how much we may wish. Look on the bright side: Coleman is back to our #5 CB...hell, he could fall to #6. He's not going to see the field often on defense.
Coleman isn't going anywhere, he redid his contract lowering the overall dollar #'s for guaranteed money this year
Well, I told WSW he was gonna get some shit... that was easy to predict. Revis and his agents were assholes throughout the entire process. OK, now he got his money. He obviously didn't give a crap what fans thought, and he sure wasn't putting team first. So now, anyone that critisized him is an asshole? Talk about a bunch of weather vanes. I'm not gonna welcome him back with open arms, all is forgiven. It's like the high school GF that cheated on you (not that that ever happened to me) LOL... but I'm never going to like Revis as much as I used to. Now that he has his $$$, let's see if he can remain as good as he was in 2009. He has to live up to his own hype now, his own demands. Jets fans can turn on a fuckin dime. He'd better be worth it.
Rex Ryan got a hold of some interesting photos of Revis hanging out at Twist and Score. That's how the deal got done
What a great way to the start the week Work here I come and I am in a good mood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is a heck of a deal. Essentially a one year extension for $25 mil, but the average over 4 years is less than $12 mil. I could care less what the guarantees are. Revis is seeing every penny of that contract.
No, retarded assholes that criticized him are retarded assholes. You're off the hook. You're just a regular asshole like the rest of us. I'd encourage you to look at it a little differently. He wasn't hurting the team as much as so many people assumed. He's a corner, and a strictly man corner at that. His role and his position effectively limited the negative impact of this holdout. As long as he was back by the start of the season and we didn't destroy our future payroll (somewhat of an unknown either way), I didn't give a shit other than the frustration of not knowing. He's back in time, he'll be fine. We'll be better than fine. The damage aspect is overrated. As far as caring what the fans think? He knows what it's like. All will be forgiven once he plays well in season.
If anybody here plans on booing revis or continuing this mevis shit, they may as well put on a teal jersey and worship the wildcat.
the worst thing anyone can say about Revis at this point is he didn't want to play in the preseason. quite frankly, I don't know why anyone would care whether he did. I'm confident Revis can step on the field Monday and perform to his standards without training camp.
