It's only $12 million more guaranteed than he originally had in his current deal. I have no issues w/ the guarantees at all.
Sure, but it's hilarious to see nonetheless. Didn't Br4dw4y say the only way this got done before the season is if the Jets caved? I'll be curious for his take.
No he didn't sign yet. It seems tho that Rex convinced him, I remember people posting that they saw Rex go to Revis's house the other day. Mustve been legit shit.
Woody and Rex went down to florida ...... #Jets Tannenbaum says agreement was reached around 11:45 pm. Confirms Rex, Woody flew to Fla. to meet with Revis, mom and Sean Gilbert
If 10 for $120 mill was the deal Revis never would have lasted 10 years with the Jets. Contracts don't work that way in the NFL. The guaranteed money is the issue.
I always ask TGG's resident psychic for his opinion on certain things and he never responds. ...and I'm pretty sure it's because he rarely knows what the hell he's talking about.
Revis agents did very well.. He had a 3 year 21 mill contract turn into 4-46 with 32 guaranteed and like aso will hit free agency in prime of his career.. seems like a very good deal to me. Both sides did well
baltimore won't have ed reed, so it's only fair that we won't have revis. oh wait... PSYCH!!! eat a dik up, raven suckas.
That is funny. You'll have to point some of them out. There are too many posters to keep track of in this thread. I think that new guy rex2009 is one.
I agree. It was better than very good. It was ideal. It pays him what he's worth on his side and extends his numbers by a year on our side. With the new CBA/lockout looming, it's outstanding.
On 1050 espn radio its a 7 year deal with an out after 4 years.not sure who holds the cards on the out.revis or the jets.
