the development is rex meeting with revis, more so that he flew all the way to florida to hold the meeting. Charity's tweet is merely a bonus. Coupled with Geiger's "early flight to catch tomorrow!" tweet, they could be construed as meaning revis negotiations are heating up. Thats why everybody is getting excited, just like the cowlishaw rumors, we now have life and hope that the deal will get done.

Lol He now says the Jets have substantially upped the guaranteed money and camp Revis likes it. A deal is all but done before Thursday. He's a caller to the FAN but he has broken news in the past. I'm just passing this on, no idea if it's true or not.
well let us know what he says. I'm losing my marbles over here, just wish somebody (a real news source, as flawed as they are) would break some news so we would know if these rumors are unfounded or if there is total validity to this complicated mess
To be fair, I like Manish, but he has had some tweets lately that read a bit too much like a smug know-it-all fan rather than a reporter.
Hopefully Revis isn't stupid enough to hold out. It's in his best interest to get the best deal possible and sign. Anything less than that would be suicide on his part. The Jets are not an organization that you fuck with.
