Hopefully Richardson will be back after week 1, and if not, I hope Conner picked up a lot from him during training camp this year. Please let this be a precursor to a Revis signing.

That must be the second time this week you've posted a tweet and someone had to ask if it was real.

The only thing I can wrap my head around is the guaranteed money T Rich would make if he played all year as opposed to missing the MNF game. Bringing him back after week 1 would be wise.

The Keels/Charity/Leon/Revis crew really seem to hate the Jets management. Should Keels an agent really be posting negative comments about the Jets anywhere? Guy is a moron.

Just for shits and giggles lets get Keels and Mrs. Washington a team of their own and see just how they do.

Fuck, those two should really learn to keep their mouths shut.

I don't like the dumping of T-rich but realistically, do the Jets try and bring him back if there is no significant injury after week 1?

If Conner is the starter and T-Rich is not going to play on special teams, then that roster spot is better off used for something else.

Now that the Jets made the move, why go back?

    Just sayin.

From a talent/depth standpoint this move makes perfect sense.

The only serious concern this cut brings up is the jets missing that presence in the locker room. On hard knocks they talked about the offense lacking leadership and I really think Trich was the closest thing the offense had to a leader.

Not to mention with all the changes to the running game/offensive line that maybe it would have been a wise move to keep the stud vet FB.

Hopefully this wont be something that kills morale in the lockeroom though.

And it would be nice to see him come back after week 1 so this guy could get his last chance @ a ring and retire a jet

according to mr e. (from another thread)

Brown is a versatile guy, capable of playing any spot along the OL including C. obviously he is raw, because otherwise he would have made the vikings squad, but he could become a very solid backup on our OL over time. The question is though, is he good enough to take Wayne Hunter's spot now? Because if he is, Hunter will be cut next week.

Wear and tear/stamina could become a problem for our bread and butter with Conner (rookie), Greene (never played a full year) and LT (up in age). I felt with our style, 2 fullbacks made sense for the roster.

Hopefully move was made to free up money for Revis. You have to be concerned about so many veterans being released at this point b/c of the leadership issues that have been seen so far. T-Rich can still play also. I cant imagine the coaching staff was in complete agreement on this move. We'll find out this Wed.

You obviously haven't read Schwartz and Feinsod's website. They have a whole article criticizing the Jets for looking into TO that could have been written by an 8th grader.

    Fukkin mooks.

I don't remember having two fullbacks last season.

It looks like Pat Brown was brought in as a developmental right tackle. Brad Childress didn't want to lose this guy.

Remember, Damien Woody was a lineman that could play every spot on the line.

If things work out, Brown could be a long term backup on the line or an eventual starter.

I remember having an experienced 4 time pro bowler, 2 time All-pro fullback carrying the load so there was no need for another FB.
