In a just and fair world, Leon would divorce her and hire F&S to represent him in the divorce proceedings.
I don't like this at all, this is not good for the locker room or the offense. god dammit Jets stop being scumbags to veterans. and to keep that little fucker Woodhead who has no NFL talent whatsoever over TRich is a damn shame.
Classless move. This type of move may cost us with other players in the future. Having a good coach is one thing to a player but a paycheck is a tad more important.
Lol at people saying we don't have a leader on offense because of an episode of an edited TV show looking to cause conversation and drama. How about this guy? If leadership was really a question, T-Rich will either be back or the coaching staff wouldn't have done this. I trust the coaches more than fans opinions based off a 2 minute segment off a TV show.
Agreed on all counts. At the end of the day, on a team with serious depth problems, you just can't afford to keep a backup fullback just because he's a classy guy. If cutting Tony Richardson is the reason that the Jets fail this season, then they were never good enough to begin with.
Big mistake cutting T-Rich. They more or less cut, traded, or released too many guys counted on as leaders for last season's team. Also leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of the veteran players. I don't like this move at all. Not to take anything away from John Connor though. Sometimes the business side of football just stinks.
Why on earth would we dump the other fullback (Davis or whatever his name is) if we were gonna axe T-Rich? And since we are axing him, Tanny BETTER have Revis delivered on a silver platter. I'm tired of hearing how we have to save fvcking pennies for a player who I have no evidence will be there for 'any' game this season. Yeah good luck with that one Tanny, he'll definitely be signed by another team that will guarantee his salary.
Everyone needs to take a deep breath IMO, TR will be signed after week one, so the Jets don't have to guarantee his Salary. Rex isn't kicking TRich to the curb that quick. Like I posted earlier, I foresee TRich on the Jets coaching staff in the future.
Because Conner is younger and better than Davis (and doesn't tweet like a 12 tear old David Clowney), and teams just don't keep 2 FBs.
Probly the first move I'm really questioning this offseason. I get why, and I understand it, but I still don't LIKE IT. Hopefully they put forth this money to Revis.
What makes anyone think T-Rich is going to hang around and wait till after Week 1 to come back? It's not like he wouldn't have other options. Coles probably doesn't have people banging down his door so the Jets can do that with him.
