No kidding. The way Connor has been playing it wouldn't have been surprising, but after everyone went on and on about how important TRs leadership was and that we were going into the season with 2 FBs, I assumed he'd have a spot. I wonder what's next for him. It would be great if he came back as a coach.
I think they love Cumberland that much, he is going nowhere. Mulligan I would have thought is the odd man out but he might be there for Westhoff.
Well, Woohead is basically a dud to me, as he's too small for specials, and we're going to need another backup power back to compliment Greene when he's injured. Richardson can still ball, and his intangibles are priceless.
David Clowney Wooow RT @Adam_Schefter: This had to be a tough one: Jets released veteran FB Tony Richardson, one of the league's classiest players
I thought the same thing. I have been a Woodhead fan but not over Richardson....no way. This is gonna kill the locker room....
RichCimini I'm hearing there's a chance Tony Richardson could re-sign after Wk 1, when his salary wouldn't be guaranteed. Stay tuned. #Jets
The good news is, at least the Jets organization did not discuss how important he is to the team or how he is viewed as a leader at all on Hard Knocks. Nor did they talk about no one stepping up as leaders, except for Richardson. Oh wait, they did......
