I can only see this shit happening to open up cash for a 1 yr deal for Revis. That is the ONLY explanation for getting rid of T-Rich.

 

Any chance this is to resign him after the 1st game so he can be paid per game?

Revis better be coming in if the guaranteed money is being cleared out. 1 year deal that allows the Jets to negotiate long term all season long..... or for Revis to become a UFA in the land of CBA uncertainty the following year.

 

I really doubt anyone else is going to pick him up, nor do I think he'll care to go anywhere else. I think they'll pick him back up after week 1. I would guess they've told him this like they did Coles.

 

Yeah I'm guessing he'll be brought back after week 1... this was just done to not guarantee the money + have a week to evaluate a young guy.

I'm sure next week we'll cut our 9th OL and re-sign T-Rich...

I undersdtand the love for TR.....I totally agree, he's leader and and awesome influence.

That being said, TR really doesn't have much left in the tank.
