Source I really wanted to see him breakout on the Jets, I know his work ethic is questionable, and he has no chance on a team with three #1's. Hope he makes it big somewhere else, he's a good guy.
I doubt he knows much. Pretty much a rookie who never lived up to expectations, which means he probably wasn't spending too much time in the playbook. If we picked up Ginn or Fasano that'd be another story. I do like it cause he worked with Mark in college.
Ginn is on the 49ers, and Turner has been with the team 2 years now so I'm sure he knows some stuff... ..and yeah, with Sanchez, McKnight, Washington, and now Turner, we are loading up on USC skill positions that worked with Mark. By coincidence it seems though.

My guess is Rex figures that Turner can play as well as clowney on ST (which is badly) and he can pump him for info on the phins offense and new wrinkles to the wild cat and Marshall, and then drop him for Coles in a week. would be shocked if he is here for any extended period of time
Maybe he goes to the WR needy Vikings for a few weeks and gets that TD he never got from Favre while he was here?
http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&line=180797&id=5330 Jets claimed WR Patrick Turner off waivers from the Dolphins. Turner will be reunited with Mark Sanchez, his former quarterback at USC. Chauncey Washington was waived to make room for Turner.
Turner sucks as a STer and underperformed as a WR, I bet we only got him to try and get some Dolphins info, then he will be cut once Coles comes back.
Damn, I figured we picked him up for his ST play. However, I'm guessing I was wrong there. If we wanted another WR that can't play teams we should have just gone with Coles or Housh.
