Sounds interesting, but no. I really don't consider my posts annoying. I'm only speaking the truth. Do u really think we're gonna win a superbowl this year without revis? Do u really think the rookie kyle wilson is gonna defend against some of the best WR's this year? Don't forget, we play a really hard schedule this year against good QB's. I'm just frustrated in the fact that all this hype is most likely gonna be for nothing.

Revis Christ is more geeky in my book. That pinned house of worship thread is probably the geekiest thing in the history of TGG outside of the whole Spivey bullshit.

well guys with all due respect were killing revis and his d*mbas% agents but at the same point in time we dont know if the jets even offered any guaranteed money, if its 10/120 with no guaranteed money what good is that? give him 30 guaranteed and put out 120 and i bet he signs.....he wants to be a jet and the jets also need him, lets not kid ourselves....the team will still win 11-13 games without him but they need him in the playoffs...were saying cro/wilson>revis/sheppard but at the same time colts have gonzalez back along with wayne and garcon.....wayne didnt do much and im pretty sure neither cb can hold him down the way revis did yes cro/wilson>revis/sheppard but revis/cro>anything seen since the raiders duo of Hayes n Hayes.......with revis this defense will be LEGENDARY and with a lockout possibly looming i dont this revis will sit the year.

This guys uncle and agents are complete fucking morons might i add

The best defensive player in the game. If our offense was better than there would be no worries. But lets face it, Sanchez is no stud yet. I would love to see the Jets win the superbowl this year without revis. But the chances of that are slim.

We had the best defense last year and lost. If we don't get a good season from Sanchez, with or without Revis, we're going nowhere.

I agree. But Revis just adds that insurance that we have a chance to win the superbowl with him. We'll just have to pray everything works out.

IMO the chances are slim with or without Revis.

    1) Sanchez is just not ready yet

    2) Winning the SB takes a lot of luck, no injuries, and many breaks

I keep reading people saying this, but there is zero chance his football career is over, absolutely zero.

His football career with the Jets may be over, but no way is his football career over.

If the Jets don't get him signed this year, it is 100% certainty they trade him this off season for the best offer.

Like it or not, players ALWAYS get their money in this situation, rarely is it with their current team, but they ALWAYS get it.

He may not get as much as the Jets are willing to give him, but he will play football again, you can be assured of that.

The Jets have gone on record as saying they won't dicuss guaranteed money until total contract value is agreed upon.

would you explain that bolded part? so he's not willing to sign what the jets are offering him but he'll accept less from somewhere else?
