I agree with you that tanny won't up the offer if we start slow, but a slow start is also the only possible way the Jets cave even a little. At this point Revis has two option if he wants to play this year. Either take the offer on the table now and get prepped and be awesome this season. Or wait two weeks for the offer to not change, or even decrease, and then accept it. And come in late, and promptly not play as well as last year.

This is exactly why we have to get him an ultimatum. For every week you miss the offer decreases by 2M and that is non-negotiable.

They were talking about how they had 2 members "confirm" that Revis was in his condo in NJ with Rex Ryan stopping by every now and then.

    Stupid asses.

oh well Revis is screwing himself up in the end. Its unlikely he will have a year like last years, so theirs no team that would be willing to pay him. Whatever good riddance scumbag

Scumbag is the perfect term to describe him. He has proven that he is not a team player, it's all about Mevis. I hope he learns a very tough lesson in the end.

The Jets won't lower his offer after the season starts. It'll sit there on the table for the whole season, unchanged. That would just create more animosity. They already drew their line in the sand yesterday by saying they are moving forward without him. That's probably as aggressive as they'll get with this.

There's still plenty of time for the guy to sign.

You'd do the same fucking thing, so shut your face.

Don't pretend you'd sign for league minimum for the honor of being a jet, or that 120 million is more than enough, or any of that bullshit. if you were in his shoes, you'd hold out for every penny possible, fuck the jets and their fans. in real life its all about number 1.

Only a scumbag like you would make a comment like this. The guy has no leverage, the Jets are being more than fair in their offer. You don't see any other Jet holding out, only Mevis.

Why shouldn't it be about him? Why wouldn't he look out for himself? As I said why couldn't Revis team mates take a pay cut so he can make 16 million? They are about the money just like he is.

You don't see any other Jet making $1 million bucks after one of the best CB seasons ever, also.

Could you please insult me some more?

To be honest,i don't really understand this completely. I always thought you honor a contract until its up and then talk at that point. Can we just make him stay and franchise him at some point and make him choose to sit and waste valuable years of his career,or play and stop being a greedy fuck. Am i wrong to think he is damaging himself by doing this? With the the amoiunt of money he is asking,no matter where he goes he will hear it everytime he screws up a play or gets burned by a reciever.
