    The staff loved him, wouldn't hate to see him get a look. As bad as he might have been with the Bears, Rex had him in mind for a completely different system. There might be something to salvage.

    I's so glad we didn't take him with the #17 pick last year. Not that he was even remotely considered.

    Jets claimed DE Jarron Gilbert off waivers from the Bears.
    Rex Ryan's staff will attempt to "coach up" the 2009 No. 68 overall pick. Gilbert has not looked remotely like a player since entering the league two Aprils ago, however. He's likely ticketed for the game-day inactives list.

    Actually, it wasn't Mike Lombardi - it was some other fat fuck named Brad Biggs.

    Manish is reporting that Gilbert is a Jet...things will clear up eventually.
