Since the cuts were announced, who do you see as PS material?

I can only see two so far, Taylor and Warren, if he is healthy.

Who else makes it at least to the PS?

    NT Tevaseau is a candidate...

Also 1 between Steinkhuler and Lamb at DE

    I hope Knicky at OLB

    Warren and Cook at DB

and then I don't know... an ILB prob

    Based on who we cut:

    S - Emanuel Cook
    S - Donovan Warren
    WR - Larry Taylor
    DT - Ty Steinkuhler
    LB - Cory Reamer
    LB - Josh Mauga
    C - Robby Felix
LB - Brashton Satele(so Westhoff has someone to scream at)

    similar list

    S - Warren
    WR - Taylor
    DT- Trevasau
    LB- Reamer
    LB- Muaga
    C- Felix

    Guys brought in post cuts

    WR - Freddie Barnes
    CB - Brian Jackson

yes i do realize Jackson is on our roster. I just think he is very vulnerable to cuts post waiver claims tomorrow. I figure we put in a claim on 3-4 guys, and we get 2, and to me Jackson is the guy who barely made the roster, and he will get dropped and added to the PS by monday

Don't think Satele makes it. Warren's a lock and I think Taylor would be too.

Satele wasn't really high on my list for the PS, just the name I thought could be the most useful out of the rest that we cut.
I would love to see this.

I like Steinkhuler....I feel Jets are playing him outta position. He should be a ILB...I think thats he best position. This guy was a tackling machine in college. He's a very tough player... Practice squad for now.

Jets can't cut Jackson, he would scooped up in a heart-beat by any NFL team. Guy has impressive size/speed ratio & will only improve with coaching. I believe Jets would cut Marquice Cole Or even Drew Coleman before Jackson.

WTF? 6-3 300 lbs... always played on the DL, why should he be moved to ILB?

i'm not sure why you are so positive he won't clear waivers, the guy was a udfa who showed some promise in camp, but its not like he wasn't one of the last guys to secure a roster spot. I might agree with you if he was cut yesterday, but after the waivers claims, anybody who is dropped usually coasts through to the PS, which is what we did with Woodhead last year. He made the roster, was cut the next day and coasted to the PS, but he wouldnt have made it there had they cut him outright.

I am pretty sure that Jackson would sneak to the PS, but I wouldnt want to drop any DB's until revis returns anyways.

I have the benifit of this moring's transactions but here are my picks:

    Taylor WR, KR
    Felix G
    Foley OLB
    Satale ILB
    Washington RB
    Steinkihler DE
    Jackson CB
    Tevaseu NT

I could have gone safety with number 8 but went with the big body instead.
