I still can't figure out why Cimini interviewed Revis's grandmother and published that. There are places you just don't go and grandma is sacred. It's not like she sought him out, he went and knocked on her door. I know the news blackout is tough to deal with but there are some things you really shouldn't do.

 

Do you really think that if Revis suddenly retires, thus breaching his current contract, that the Jets will not pursue legal action and recoup previous money?

He has to report at least 30 days before the end of the regular season or he can't play. In other words, players can't just choose to show up for the postseason.

i just hate hearing the line about having to take care of my family blah blah blah...if you make $100k a year starting at the age of 30 and work til you are 60 you earn $3 mil before taxes and with that you can support your family. So him saying I need $160mil to care for my family is garbage!
