anyone else starting to feel like the nickname "terminator" is going to get really fucking tiresome long before people stop saying it?
Nope. 15 years of the Terminator. Bring it on. Just think of the "I'll be back" threads when he resigns.
No, I just know the game better. My concerns lie with a brand new LG, who is going to make plenty of mistakes that will have to be covered by LT staying into block or Conner chipping a LB. A CB that should have a deal done before 9/13, and a 2nd year QB who has to limit mistakes for this team to take at least the division, and then have a better January than last year to touch the SB. My concerns look towards next year when our OLBs are pushing a decade in the league and there is no true starter waiting in the wings. A new NT coming in and dealing with all-stars who are in contract years, 4 of them, and one isn't being kept. I choose Braylon to go. My concerns aren't about backups who won't see the field and when they do they'll be surrounded by top talent in this league. Its rare to see five 2nd stringers starting at one time, and if they are, the year is probably lost. I don't worry about what roster #54-75 are doing right now either, because they don't make the team. I get that some rookies are projects, and others are ready to go. This year its half and half. I fear Ducasse doesn't have the mental side down until his 28th week in the league, but will still have zero starts. McKnight will be limited as fuck until he proves his worth. We might see him in cleanup duty if the Jets have a 30-0 lead in the 4th with 9 minutes remaining. I understand that it takes 3 years in this league before you come into who you are as a player, and I don't shit the bed during preseason. I'm not a SOJF pussy who is afraid of being great, or waiting for things to go wrong, or secretly wanting things to go wrong just because its a comfort zone. Fanboi's think that the team is loaded head to toe and nothing is going to stop them. I see an 11-5 season and know with 3 key players going down it turns to 5-8 wins. Its pretty funny out of all people on this board one would think I'm a blind moron who thinks this team is going to win 15 games and turn into a dynasty. I'm just not scared anymore, and I know how to voice concerns intelligently and not sound like I don't know what I'm talking about. And if I'm not sure about something, I'll ask. I'm not afraid to be wrong, even though I don't like it - no one does. I also have zero fucking patience for anyone anymore, because this Revis thing has made everyone go apeshit to the point of no return, and is affecting their posting on other topics. You're almost a year in, you should know I have no patience for scared Jets fans. I'm like the Gestapo when it comes to them. Call me Mick Landa, SOJF Hunter. Get me a glass of milk.
I'm glad someone said this. He had that penalty which made me take notice of him (in a bad way). But then he had excellent coverage, great breakups, he looked like a player. He was the one player that no one has talked about making the team that I think could. Probably no other team would pick him up and he could hit the practce squad, but I like his chances for the future.
Thank You to all. I actually got annoyed so it came from the heart. Props to Pluvrr for pissing me off. That's a rare feat.
