I watched Browning Nagle at Hofstra and was amazed at the arm strength, he flicked his wrist and the ball went 80 yards, he threw a ball harder than Elway or Namath, unfortunately he had Jemarcus Russell syndrome....

True, but he made the really big kicks except for the one vs Detroit in 2000, I'll take that over the cushion ones.

Regarding Oakland, to be fair, during some of the Jets best years in the 80s the Raiders played in LA and the Jets did win a playoff game there. So while that Oakland stat is valid it's also a bit misleading.

I undersatnd ftom '82-'94 they were in LA but there were alot of games in Oakland pre '82 and even our best teams in the late 60s couldn't win there.

I always try to find new ones:beer:

Almost looks like his feet were moving in this one. Photoshop?

For the record, I was a huge O'Brien fan, loved him.

If Sanchez were to ever go down (*knock on wood*), who thinks Brad Smith could be our Ray Lucas?

I'd much rather see him take over the offense than Brunell, even though Brunell was ok yesterday.

You can't be serious. Brad Smith is not better than Brunell as a starting quarterback. He's great for a change of pace but that's it.

Week 17 in 2000 at Baltimore. Groh brought him in after John Hall missed that field goal against Detroit the week before. Bad memories.

Wow, I forgot all about that. I remember Hall missing vs Detroit and of course the Baltimore game but not the change at kicker. Probably because Hall came back and kicked two more seasons for us.
