So tonight will mainly be the battle of the back-ups... who do you think will impress the most and possibly make the final roster? I'm picking 2, 1 on D and 1 on O. on D: Jamaal Westerman... I think this kid will prove he can be a rotational OLB in this league, hopefully he gets a sack or two and we can all go to sleep feeling good about our OLB depth. on O: Danny Woodhead... last year he was the highlight of the game and I think tonight he will do the same. With Brunell and Clemens in we're going to run the ball a lot and I feel/hope he can break a couple of big runs. Would be fun to see him involved in the passing game too... Additional hopes: I hope some back-up DE lights it up today because we really need some depth in that department. I'm hoping for Kroul to show he's capable of pushing the opposing OL back... and Gholston too... fingers crossed.
I can't decide whether or not I want McKnight to have a great game or Woodhead to have a great game and knock McKnight down the depth chart...
I think KC, Clowney & Holmes are going to have a good night. On defense, Eric Smith and Gholston (I can't believe I'm saying it) will have a good evening.
Cos its like Island and peninsula....don't you get it I prefer Wilson Nature reserve or Wilson Coastal Trail
Yes I get that it is similar to an island, but you never hear the reference "He's out there on a peninsula with the WR"
I think McKnight will run wild tonight. Just like Woodhead did last year, but McKight might blow right by the numbers Woodhead posted last year. The CS really wants their 4th round pick to work out. They will give him every chance to display his speed, and he will go off against second and third stringers. Those defenders won't be able to run him down. While I have been a McKnight detractor, there is no denying his talent, and I think he shows up big time tonight.
I know I was being slightly obtuse! Its a supid nickname tbh! I prefer the Jenkins Triangle - once centers enter they disappear.............
