idk man i just think they were playing a veeeeeery vanilla d during the preseason, not many stunts and what not....we will be seein a lot of safety blitz' and overload blitz, de's dropping into covs and lb's coming through.....jenkins is the key gentlemen lets understand that, him commanding a double team lets every1 else go 1 on 1, and i think taylor will suprise some ppl.....cro is a highlightreel and wilson is a HELL of a tackler.....i still believe revis will be signed by next weekend and will be back....

I dont think last season is impossible to emulate, i really believe the kids that damn good....once he signs all willl be forgotten :manning:

I don't know if anyone can repeat what Revis did last year. It was a generational season.

    I understand the argument.

But see, the thing is, you failed to understand mine and I believe purposefully. You have some sick hatred of cornerbacks. There we were last December with Revis having an all-time great season for a cornerback and you were still bitching that the Jets were moronic for trading up to draft him.

Nowhere in my posts in this thread did I say Adderley, Brown, Haynes, or Sanders were THE #1 reason why their teams won Super Bowls the same year (or the following year) in which they were added to the team.

Sorry, but your ridiculous error-filled bullshit was horrifically bad.

See, I initially never mentioned Lamonica because there was no reason to mention him. This was about cornerbacks being added to teams. That was what your post was about. I responded to that post. I did not say Brown was the #1 reason why that Oakland team went from 8-5-1 to 13-1 after he was acquired.

Earth to Br4dw4y5ux. Earth to Br4dw4y5ux.
I CLEARLY made mention in all of my long posts on this matter that the Cowboys LOST the Super Bowl the year they added Adderley.

    I passed over ZERO facts.

You, on the other hand, presented errors and bullshit to the forum. Do not forget that. Do not spin.

It was mentioned repeatedly why I got upset. You made a statement. I responded to it with no malice.
You then got bothered for some reason and used a tone with me.
I was debating some football stuff. You then decided to be an asshole.
    Any questions?

Earth to Br4dw4y5ux. Earth to Br4dw4y5ux.
Read the comment you made that started all this.
    Read my response.

Again, NEVER did I write that those four players were the key reason their teams won. Rather, I wrote that they were key contributors to winning teams.

When talking about lack of depth

I'm thoroughly convinced that Cowlishaw never actually had a source to begin with. He keeps laughing about being wrong, and acting like a prick on Twitter about it.

He also gained about 5,000 followers since.

Tanny does seem like he is trying to make room for Revis money. If he assumed on Revis not being here i dont know why he would be worried about T Rich money. Especially when Rex is so passionate about TR. They are usually on the same page. The roster spot is a non issue of DR is not here

Well that doesn't mean a deal is imminent it doesn't appear as if talks are completely dead

Yeah, I said that during the show. Seems like they're gearing up. Wouldn't show that if no progress were being made, either. Kind of a good faith move that they're trying to clear guaranteed space.

But guaranteed money has to all fit under last year's cap, yes? Every bit of guaranteed vet money counts.

There's nothing important about them saying they have Revis' money set aside.

Of course they have to have it ready to go. If they spent his money and then couldn't afford to sign him when he decided he wanted to come back it would be pretty funny.

I don't think a signing bonus has to fit. Anything in the future that's guaranteed for skill and injury needs to fit under the 2009 cap.

actually there is..If they felt like they were at a stalemate and there wasnt a chance he would sign eventually they wouldnt have to worry about his money this year. They could put it off until next year if they truly felt he wasnt coming back and spend his cut this year
