No, lol. When you look at the tittle from outside of the thread it only shows "going to the Jets game tomorrow"

I saw the Jets lose there in I believe 2003. Parked in some park adjoining the stadium area and walked about 2 miles to get to the stadium, getting abuse heaped on me the whole way. Try to exit northbound when you leave so you can go into S Philly and get a cheesesteak at Pat's. Better yet, don't go at all. Philly sucks.

Defiantly planning on going to Pat's after the game. That area is the only area that is alive that time a night, from what I can remember. I don't mind the trash talk and other crap I will go through at the game. Just trying to plan ahead and figure the parking situation out. Hope it's not like at NMS with the whole 50 dollar parking crap. They will probably charge me more cause I am a Jets fan lol.

    Grind,

Parking in Philly is really simple. There are 3 big lots in between the Link and Citizen's Bank Park (all off Patterson Avenue). They are open to the public (I believe it's $20).

I wear see you at the game (although I won't be wearing my Jets swag. I value my life).

Do it! I went to Jets/Eagles preseason in 2007 at the Link. Like this game, it was the 4th preseason game. No starters played. The game didn't count for shit.

I went with my buddy who is also a big Jets fan. I wore my Vilma jersey, he wore his Pennington. The SECOND we stepped out of the car, we were booed. Walking into the stadium, people threw trash and beer bottles at us.

We had decent seats in the upper level. Every time the Jets scored or made any big play, people booed and harassed us. There were a TON of drunks at the stadium who were cursing at us and just being total dicks.

By the time the game was over (a Jets win), we were getting harassed non-stop. Walking out of the stadium, some drunk was tossing open ketchup and mustard packets at us.

I absolutely hate the Eagles and their fans. I'm going to the game tomorrow, but for the reason mentioned above, will keep my Jets stuff at home.

Going to a Jets game with no Jets gear on is like going to a strip club with no money, what's the point lol. Not a big strip club fan but I am just saying. Anyway enjoy the game man and thanks for the insight. I just can't do the whole no Jets gear thing and not cheer when Clemens throws a TD pass.

Stand strong. What does it say about a fan base that's too timid to wear their team colors on game-day? Philly fans want to intimidate people, why give them the satisfaction?

I will tell you one thing and one thing only. LEAVE VERY EARLY because the traffic around that stadium is a fucking nightmare. Calculate what early is, then leave an hour before that and you just might make kickoff. Walt Whitman, Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross Bridges all suck and I-95 is no better.

Thanks for the info 227. Yea leaving NY around 2pm, should be good for a traffic less route once I arrive near the stadium with my food and my beer in hand.

Wow, had a great time at the game. Had my Jets jersey and hat on and enjoyed every single bit of trash talk I received from those Eagles fans lol. Sat directly behind one chick who was a die hard Eagles fans and we had fun going back and forth when each team would make a good play. I was even sitting near that dude that was pictured on the ticket stub, guess he is their version of Fireman Ed! All and all I had a great time and appreciate the help from you guys. Parking was super easy, probably better then our stadium. 25 dollars to park right in front of the stadium, took about 3mins to walk from the car to the Pepsi gate. And to end it all the Jets won and Holmes looked great. Can't wait till he comes back!! I will say one thing about Link Field, I am kinda of jealous that those Eagles fans have a nice/ fairly new stadium and didn't have to pay a PSL, but I guess their time is coming!

There were PSLs charged for a majority of the seats in the Linc.

Oh ok some of the Eagles fans were saying that they didn't have Psl's yet, granted they weren't Sth's.

I went and wore my jersey and didnt have a problem. They heckled me a bit but all in good fun. It was worth it. My daughter enjoyed it. NO problems here at all. Definitely saw a lot of jets fans there too. I live in south jersey with a lot of Eagles fans and they dont mind jets fans because we all hate the Giants so it was fun.
