so lets guesstimate now. What day can revis sign, and conceivably be prepared to not only play, but start week 1?

my guess is Rex would want him in 3 days in advance. So that means Revis needs to be signed in the next 9 days, if he is to play in the opener....

I'm going to say Darrelle officially lost me.

If he's not in camp before game 1, I say fuck him and I will piss on the house of worship thread.

The problem is, you don't dictate what you deserve. I can sit here and scream that I deserve $1 million/year for what I do but it doesn't mean anything if no one is willing to pay it. The market dictates what you deserve and given the fact that you're not even eligible for the open market, you really don't even have the option of testing that.

The highest yearly salary for a long term CB contract in the NFL is 10/year. Revis was offered 20% more than that. That sounds like a reasonable effort at market value if you ask me.

I'm going to say Rex probably meant it when he said Revis could show up the day before and start. Unless he shows up looking like Rex, I think he'll just get thrown in there, but possibly on a rotation.

    No.

Also, in the real world when your boss tells you you deserve a merit raise, you don't stop showing up for work and start demanding to be paid like the CEO.

That's probably something that the federal and New York Stat Gov'ts might be saying about that link in your signature.

Flacco: "Hey coach I'm throwing at Revis, the guys only been back __ days. No way he's in shape."

Harbaugh: "Yeah he's gotta be rusty."

"Flacco back to throw, looking left, fires a bomb in the direction of Boldin, Revis battling. IT'S PICKED OFF! He's at the 40, midfield, 35, 30, at the 20, he's gonna go the distance..."

I almost think thats whats going to happen in this game.

First possession Flacco works the offense to the ravens 40, and goes for Boldin deep(week 2 pats randy moss style) this time Revis returns it for a touchdown, and Eric Smith runs up to Boldin and breaks his face again.

What's that matter? Born and raised in Florida, and I'm a huge Jets fan.

Same here. The worst part of it was that going for the TD was meaningless because they were so far down at that point and only had :35 left.
