    More bad news for Patriots D

    edit: see somebody beat me to the punch on the Bodden news. 2 starters out for the year on a D that was suspect to begin with. Ouch

    Sucks for his season to end, but Sanchez loves playing catch with him, so its a positive from that angle.

    Bodden is a damn good veteran, but McCourty and Deion Butler will a decent job back there.

    Posted in the NFL section already but yeah that's a big blow for you guys. Hopefully Sanchez plays well and can capitalize

    Deion is the one I'm more worried about...

    However, like rotoworld pointed out, with an inexperienced group of CBs and no amazing pass rusher on the roster the Pats seem pretty vulnerable through the air...

    Wow, that's huge.

    I'm less pleased thinking "good, Sanchez will face lesser corners" than I am thinking "every other quarterback playing the Pats will face lesser corners."

    Sanchez will have just as many ups and downs playing the Pats, I think. But Manning, Rivers, Favre, Roethlisberger, Rodgers? They're gonna roast that secondary.

    Wait until Holmes gets back. He'll torch them.

    I'd actually like to see a Brady vs. Sanchez game. Where its not the running game or the defenses, its the QBs that are going to win the game that day.

    either way it would probably be a good experience for sanchez. standing toe to toe with brady would show everyone a lot.


    before anyone jumps down my throat i will take the win with our running game dominating every day of the week. i still wouldn't mind seeing sanchez slinging it around with the likes of brady.
