Rex PC live on http://www.newyorkjets.com/ in a few... Not that this has shit to do with Revis but this is where everyone looks. Edit: Thanks for the bump over
Keeping Cumberland, means they might have a great 2 TE set to thorw from. He missed that ball in the Wash. game, but that was a tough catch.
That would make alot of sense, especially if Sanchez starts to struggle again. Yeah sounds like Woodheads most likely in. 5 spots up for grabs....
Jason taylor is going to be a beast in this defense. I cant wait to see him rushing the passer, I felt like they dropped taylor back in coverage most of the time this preseason. Rex clearly gave nothing away for baltimore to study up on!
Meh... Cumberland is a TE/WR... certainly not a punishing blocker. Mulligan is being kept especially for ST duties... IMO it doesn't mean anything in regards of our running game.
I suspect there's some gamesmanship in his claim that they're keeping 4 TEs and 2 FBs; that's a lot similar players to have on a team and maybe he's trying to pump up their value to convince other teams to trade for one of their guys at those positions.
Dustin Keller: receiving threat Ben Hartsock: blocking specialist Matt Mulligan: special teamer Tanner Purdum: long snapper I don't know why all of you guys think we're keeping Jeff Cumberland. He was competing with Mulligan all off-season for a special teams slot. Mulligan is clearly the better, more experienced blocker.
