    Standard Format - 15 players [9 Starters (1 FLEX)/ 6 Bench]
    Starters - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (WR/RB/TE), 1 K, 1 D/ST, 1
    Standard scoring - 6 pts TD, 10yds receiving/rushing = 1 pt, fumble = 2 pts, INT = 2 pts. NOT PPR

    (QB) Matt Schaub
    (RB) Adrian Peterson
    (RB) LeSean McCoy
    (WR) Calvin Johnson
    (WR) Mike Sims-Walker
    (TE) Dustin Keller
    (FLEX) Steve Slaton
    (K) Nick Folk
    (DEF/ST) New England
    --------------------
    [BN] (QB) David Garrard
    [BN] (RB) Jahvid Best
    [BN] (WR) Jeremy Maclin
    [BN] (WR) Kenny Britt
    [BN] (RB) Tim Hightower
    [BN] (TE) Kevin Boss

I went for a young team that I saw having breakout years, i.e.: McCoy, Keller, Best, Maclin, Sims-Walker, and Britt. I see Folk kicking a lot of field goals with us since the Jets always kick a shit ton of field goals, plus I think he's got his form back. Hightower I thought might put up good numbers because with Leinhart at the helm the rushing attack should go up. Then again, bench fodder. Can't really argue with Schaub, AP, and Calvin Johnson, I thought those worked out well. I picked 3rd out of a 12 player league btw.

    Rate the poll and discuss.

its all contingent on how many people are in the league. this would be a shitty squad in a 10 team league but it definitely has potential in a 12.

Edited the post, 12 teams and I had 3rd overall pick. Snake style draft where I pick 3rd in the first round, then 9th in the second, 3rd in the third, 9th in the fourth, etc)

I disagree with MJ2....this is a good team. I would drop Britt until he shows somethgni though...is Eddie Royal ont he waiver wire? He'll be the go-to for Orton. I think Maclin will be a superstar for you but you are nice atr WR anyway so maybe later int he season you can pickup a better #2 Rb for him.

Had him there initially but wasn't sure of the RB situation in DET yet.

trading for vjax comes down to how much of a risk you're willing to take that he actually plays this year.

if he plays, he'll put up better numbers than slaton.

i like the team. though i'd rather have guys like gaffney/louis murphy than a second te. maybe even kareem huggins.

My thoughts too. I wouldn't put the slaton/VJ trade through til week 4 minimum, right now wouldn't be advantageous at all, though info l do have some leverage considering tall's situation.

Boss is insurance for me in case Keller has a bad season. At minimum he's good trade bait since my league has some delusional giant fans that will overvalue him.

I would trade Slaton for Vjax now. Once an owner knows he is coming back there is no way they will trade him... he's a top 10 WR when on the field.

Damn good team, Maclin I think will take MSW's spot, and Arian Foster could end up taking one of the non-AP spots.

On the one hand Keller seems to be a Sanchez hot target this year. On the other, I feel like there are at least 10 better TEs (clark, gates, finley, davis, witten, tgon, celek, winslow, probably zmiller, probably daniels, possibly schiancoe or carlson)

No way all of those guys should have been available (especially Calvin Johnson in round two).

    You were drafting with chimps.

Trading Hightower and Slaton for VJack and Slaton?!

You traded two backup RBs for a starting RB and a possible holdout starting WR. You got two step ups with that trade.

I dropped Hightower and picked up Arian Foster on wavers. Then I traded Slaton for VJax.

I really hope our defense is that good this year. Maybe if Revis signs it will be.

If Arian Foster was available on waivers this league is really hurting.

Ha yea, I'm targeting him with the 10th pick in the 5th round. I hope the people in my money league drop the ball like that this year.

As it stands right now I have LeSean McCoy as my starting flex back and Jeremy Maclin on the bench. Eagles are playing the Packers week 1 and I'm not sure if I'd be better off starting Maclin at flex and benching McCoy. Jahvid Best and AP are my other starting backs but I'm not benching them.

    What do you guys think?
