@TimCowlishaw their o- line is like ur source. They both SUCK @11michael11 ur 7 followers find u hysterical LOLOL...I think that's hilarious
If Revis sits out this season his endorsements are done and over with, that revenue stream is gone and he still owe's the Jets 3 years service. The Jets can just list him and let him sit, his career would be over. If he's going to sit out for 16 million a year let him sit and rot. Pay him for 12 a year with reasonable guarentees and if he signs i'll cheer, but if he holds out for a dime more he can sit and rot for all I care.
A hold out isn't necessarily going to hurt his endorsements. If he holds out, then comes back and is great, he will get them. If he holds out and sucks, he is going to lose them. It isn't like Revis got caught having gay sex with Geiger in his house of worship.......
yeah...whoops. that thought wasn't connected to the link i found. its just more and more the feeling i get of what is going to happen this year. he is not going to budge on the $40 million gap because it worked for his uncle. i liked the link cuz, it contended the notion that Revis was alive somewhere. its like a hostage negotiation. the jets should ask for visual confirmation that Revis is still alive and well. and then they should trade him to crazy Al Davis.
Revis.........Revis????????? REVIS????? Colishaw rumor finally put to rest. Sadly, I wanted it to be true. The guy can't possibly sit at home with a 120 million dollar offer on the table can he? 120 MIL!!! There are alot of bad things I would do for that kind of cash.
Week 1 looks fine to me. Rewatching the game against the Skins and we were lights out defensively. Scott's 15 yard hit on the QB is what moved them into FG range. Kyle Wilson will be that much better come playoff time. We'll be fine.
Yeah. at the bottom of that link it says this: UPDATE: Multiple reports Wednesday indicated that no meeting took place Tuesday between Revis' side and the Jets, and there was no deal announced Wednesday. Regardless, FanHouse's source reiterated Wednesday that the two sides continue to talk, have been talking all along and are making good progress on a deal that should be reached and announced soon. so you know, if Revis ever signs, they will have totally called it with their unnamed source.
Hmmm......why was Kyle Wilson playing nickle last night? Do you think Rex really likes the idea of starting Lowery?
it might not hurt his local endorsements, but if Revis Island isn't on the field this season his national endorsements go poof...at this point nationally he's a one year wonder who made a name for himself. He's not Jordan or Woods where he can go offcourt and maintain his endorsements, Revis was just starting to make a national name for himself and if he's not careful his "five minutes of fame" will be gone, in a commercial sense anyways.
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (Revis tweets w/Whore but it was a meanless tweet) Yeah I'd be curious to see what happens to his Nike deal, that just started. There must be a clause in there about this issue. I can't see Nike airing those commercials if he isn't playing.
