Maybe I'm being foolish, but I don't understand the concern by guaranteeing most of the money for at least the first few years of the extension. Is anyone worried that Revis will lose it that quickly? Sure, he might not be otherworldly, but he'll still be a top 3 corner. Even if it is going to be 12/120, guarantee fully the first 4 or 5 years and a large percentage of the next few after that. Done.

His ability is NOT in question it's his character that is, this is the SECOND time in four years that he's held out for more money(don't forget he's still under the contract that he originally held out on in the first place...WTF) How don't you know he won't do it again, would you be willing to take that gamble of losing 50-60 million if it was your money. The only way I can see something like this happening is if they put a clause in the contract voiding the contract & making MEvi$ return ALL the money if he were to try & hold out again. I don't see this happening.
