The question you asked doesn't matter, because it's not reality. Do I think they would have held out? I definitely think it's possible, but it has no realistic bearing on the current situation anymore, especially to the people who are waving their Jets flag and telling Revis to play out his contract. Because the Jets were the ones to make it an unreality.

Great post. Let's end this thread with this post. This sums up things perfectly. If you are a Jets fan, how can you NOT see how Revis is screwing up the team, the season, and everything the fans care about?????? I know many of you want to see Revis on the field and I know that you realize that you don't (directly) pay his contract, but how can you not see how his behavior is irrational, greedy, and harmful to the team?????

How much wasn't? The answer is we don't know and likely never will. However, judging by Brick's contract (all we have to go by), there were likely large bonuses for each year he showed up for camp.

Showing up for camp is just not the Revis way.

 

I didn't like the fact Revis didn't show up to camp either....but how much of that is on the advice from the 2 chimps representing him?
