Jets Related Twitter Posts The Cardinals can't possibly view KC as a better stopgap than DA and Matty. They can use one of those guys this year and develop Skelton and Hall.
I think the Cards are giving up on Lienart, one of the other things Floridouche said was that he was being bench for their next preseason game.
Jets Related Twitter Posts He might, but they want to go with Skelton or Hall in a year or two. I don't know why they'd give up a pick for Clemens in that situation just for the possibility that he could win the job. They're already going to have to cut one. I don't see their rookies making it to the PS, although I suppose one could.
Jets Related Twitter Posts Yeah, DA is starting. I'm just saying, you're assuming you'll only keep one of those two guys. Why dump both and trade for Clemens?
Jets Related Twitter Posts Well, hasn't it been rumored that we'll cut KC soon? If they wait until the season to make a move, they can have him for free.
apologies if this has been mentioned already. in regards to sanchez landing on his shoulder in the washington game Randy Lange reports ( http://twitter.com/nyjets ): Rex on QB Mark Sanchez, who landed on shoulder vs. WAS: "He was full [at today's closed practice]. No limitations whatsoever right now." and also the play that broke pace's foot: Pace said he suffered the injury on first defense's final series vs. WAS when tackle's helmet hit the side of his foot. i know someone was "gonna be pissed" if it happened in the third quarter - even though most starters play that long in the 3rd preseason game.. but it sounds as if it was 1 play too long for pace's sake.
TheJetsStream Here you go, #Jets nation RT @SI_PeterKing: Just talked to Adalius Thomas. He has talked to the Jets but nothing is imminent. #nfl #nyj 39 minutes ago via ÜberTwitter
It's not a terrible option. He's goin to play 25-40% of the snaps and knows this defense. And he'll be cheap.
Plus he should play at least a little bit of inspired football with his 2 former teams being our first 2 opponents.
