Jeez...you can't trade him He is untradeable. He wants 160 million dollars. Who is going to pay that AND give up multiple 1st round picks. That's just being delirious.

My thinking is (going along with the earlier comments about him knowing someone on
HK staff) that his source overheard a phone conversation with a drop dead date in it.

He's still clinging to this Saturday thing. I won't believe it unless there's some other news from another reporter.

Honestly, I hope Revis specifically doesn't sign until Monday to ruin this fucking guy's reputation.

Then he can climb under a rock with Vaynerchuck and anal ring toss each other.

I wouldn't use that as a reason. There are already other reporters, here, Pittsburgh, people who have friends who have friends that play golf together that get 4 AM emails...it goes on and on.

You don't know what his bottom line is. If they found a trade partner that is going to offer 10 YR $140M with high guaranteed money it might be acceptable to him.

Besides the fact I was not arguing that aspect of it, just the idea of letting him sit for 3 years vs. trading him and picking up a couple of very high picks and maybe a player.

The only bandwagon im on now is that Revis will be a JET. Either this preseason, this season, or a following season to come. THE END

Rogers Sportsnet is reporting that Revis is close to signing that 10yr/150 contract with the 65 million guaranteed.

I don't have a link....because it was a blurb on Sportsnet Connected (tv) this morning....I almost choked on my cereal when i saw it.

I'm gathering that they're probably mistaken...since i don't see any pandemonium ensuing in this thread.

I doubt any team is willing to give up picks and pay him 10/140 either.

It doesn't matter what his bottom line is. All the rumors say he wants 160 million dollars now. Besides he doesn't want to be traded. He likes the Jets and he likes Ryan. Maybe he will ask for 500 million if they even try to trade him. Like I said, he is un-tradeable until he is signed.

I'm not going to get excited, but keep up updated if you see anything else.

What the hell is Rogers Sportsnet? If that's a Canadian source, I'm reporting you.

This just in.................Channel 13's Gary Gnu is reporting that Revis got traded for Statler and Waldorf (the old guys in the balcony) and Dr. Teeth. He's the band's lead singer for Christ's sake. Good deal!!

People on this board are responding to Cowlishaw's article saying it still looks positive???? Read the article again, the guy is saying Revis will be a Jet. Wow! When was that being disputed? The Information cowlishaw got is baseless, useless and unfounded. Obviously Revis may sign within the next two weeks, that is what the whold freaking world expected since the holdout began. Either way, cowlishaw's opininon is now as relevant and informed, as anyone who has internet access.

I'm at work now....but i'll keep an eye on the website.

Although, I can't see a Canadian sports media outlet breaking the story before the American sports media

Let's make this a little simpler. What do you think would be better for the team?

Let him sit 3 years or trade for a couple of high picks and maybe a player.
