From hearing the AOL guy my stance is that something is indeed happening. But it probably will still take a few days for the 2 sides to hammer out a deal. For now I am not willing to believe any of these nothing is happening reports. The local media and all these ESPN clowns are trapped in dark closet kinda like R Kelly.

To quote on of my favorite posters...

Darrelle Mevi$ is 0-3 in bringing a Championship to the NYJ

That's funny, because the Saints beat the Colts without Mevi$...Something we didn't do WITH Mevi$.

That argument sucks, the Saints also had one of the best QBs in the NFL.

But...They beat the BEST QB in the game.

and P.S...We beat the Saints ASSES....except the Saints best QB in that game was our QB.

Brees (Stats notwithstanding) ain't all that. He didn't do jack shit against us.

Sanchez won that game for N.O.

Had we beat INDY, we'd have had a Lombardi.

Ummmm..Right now..today...Our secondary is BETTER than it was against Indy...

That roughly makes Mevi$ a luxury.

    Cornerbacks:
    1. Cromartie
    2. Wilson
    3. Lowery
    4. Coleman
    5. Jackson

Not horrible. Decent unit. Probably a C+, or B-.

To get past the Colts though? Impossible with that unit.

It’s 12 pm here in Europe (Austria) so I do a little summary of this strange, crazy and also hilarious day before going to bed…

    • The mysterious revis-video tape supposed to be airing today
    • Revis to be traded to Dallas
    • Banana-site reports deal is done
    • The guy saying “I miss the old thread” LOL
    • The guy with the father of a friend came up, claiming a deal was sent to the NFLPA => guy gets ripped
    • Woody interview => no hope…. Another Woody quote => hope again

    anything else?.. what a day

I'd love hear what promises Tanny made to Revis that you know of. Because I'm willing to bet anything that it wasn't "We'll make you the highest paid cornerback in the league and give you money that exceeds Namdi's ass backwards contract."

Thomas Jones huh? I agree, a great team guy, loved what he did while he played here. This is the N.F.L. it's not high school or pop warner. It's a business. You look out for your team and look out for your future. Everyone saw T.J. breaking down throughout the season. Compare him to Shonn Greene later in the year and you could see the difference. Shonn fell foward and absorbed first hits. TJ went down after first contact. Don't hate on Tanny for doing his job and treating this guys like their his friends.
