It's not the same thing. If I posted right now that I heard from a reliable source that Revis will be signed today at 4pm then I'm being an asshole and deserve to be banned. It's obvious this kid is looking for attention.
I wanted Cowlishaw's source to be correct because I obviously want Revis signed and back in the fold. But now i have a NEW reason......I want Cimini to eat a shit sandwich.
Yeah, you're right. I can't really see him getting banned for something no one believes at this moment.
IMO, this is being out on by team Revis. They want to get fans all excited, and then tremendously let down hoping fans revolt on the jets forcing them to sign him.
I agree 100% that Cimini is a douche, but it's definitely leaning more towards the fact that him and Manish are correct. After Cowlishaw said that he expected the beat writers in NY to shoot down his story, I bet that the Jets beat writers were working around the clock to gather information, talking to every source they know, calling in any favors, etc. I don't see how this could have slipped past all of them for this long.

Dude, relax and let it go. Like I said, it would be very surprising for a mod to actually ban you for fake news. If you push it, there are some mods who will ban you just because they're tired of you.
