Since the Jets are boycotting Francessa they should boycot the entire station, as much as I like Boomer and Carton and dont have that much of a problem with Joe and Evan although Joe B things hes the only NY Sports fan whose a Met, NYJ, and Knicks fan. That would be the biggest blow to the station and might actually get the higher ups attention if they haven't already been.
Regarding Joe & Evan, I kinda feel badly for them that didn't get to interview any Jets players, essentially because Francessa dicked over them (i.e. the station). Let's not forget, they're legit Jets fans -- Joe is pretty much Champ, and Evan is just like any one of us younger die-hard fans (what's he, 27 years old?). Must have sucked for them, being 100 feet away from their favorite players without having the opportunity to interview them on-air. Man, I really hope Revis inks his contract tomorrow and reports on Thursday. Fathead will be even more pissed at the Jets for proving him wrong, making him look stupid yet again haha. If for no other reason, the two sides should agree to a deal for the sake of that.
Yeah, I mean, it's pretty obvious that Evan is a Mets fan first and foremost; the dude loves baseball. But when football season rolls around, he doesn't talk about pitchers-and-catchers and horse racing (like some shit-heads do). I just put myself in their shoes for a minute, and it seriously must have sucked being at your favorite team's camp and getting shunned because of some dickhole who has a vendetta against the organization.

Agreed. My biggest issue with them is there is so little hockey talk! Yet, to me, they're the best duo on sports radio.

I can't stand people who talk about pitchers and catchers all winter. Baseball is boring enough when it's on. Plus, pitchers and catchers is nothing. They count down all winter to a dreary day in February when nothing happens except for some overpaid fags doing jumping jacks in Florida. Yeah, that was worth waiting for.
I'm sure Mike's sources are the Jets, and they are feeding him shit like "hahaha yeah mike we aint gonna sign this guy hahaha" so now when news breaks (not saying today) mike will look like a prick.
