If New England is stupid enough to let him go he'd get a fortune with free agency, Revis doesn't have that luxury. And the people who you blame is Al Davis for that retarded contract in the first place

It might behoove Brady to watch, considering he's going to see an awful lot of green jerseys in his face this year he may as well start getting used to it in August.

Honestly I've never seen such a smug asshole in my life. His comment a few weeks ago about how his dad raised him ... yeah I'm sure he was real proud when you cheated on and then left your pregnant girlfriend.

    +1

I am glad I am not the only one that remembers this fact. Brady should have two words for the Jets:

    "Thank You"

I am not even worried about this guy. Since his injury the dude has not even wanted to win games. Watch any time he gets hit or even close to last season and, his first look is at the official like "Are they still allowed to hit me?". God, I wish I remember the game, but last year in one game he got hit, sat up, motioned to the official, and then the official threw a flag! I know superstars in every sport get the benefit of the doubt in officiating calls, but this guy is so far into it that sneezing near him will be a penalty.

I got tickets at the seventh row for the Dolphins/Pats game at Gilette last year. After he through a pick on the opening series I stood up and clapped. Not drunkenly glouting, not even saying anything, just clapping. While heckling could be expected in this situation, a well dressed dude about 50 years old a section over comes up and says "Tom doesn't need that from you right now" like im personally offending his son at a pop warner game or something. Just shows how out of touch the Pats fans are with the team. I can't wait to watch the decline of the both Brady and the Pats, and how the New Englanders try to rationalize it. He's made his millions, is dating a super model, and is basically over all this 'football' stuff and has been spoiled by the Pats success. He'll never be the John Elway type to desperately try to win diving for first downs anymore and the Pats and him have peaked three years ago.

Now Marino comes out and backs Brady in his hatred of the Jets.

I don't get it. The Jets haven't been to a Super Bowl in forty fucking years, and have been a laughing stock for much of that time. Where does this intense hatred these clowns have come from? As a Yankee fan I never hated the Sox and their fans until they actually, you know, WON SOMETHING.

It's been said already in here but this can only point to the fact that somehow our favorite team has gotten under the skin of guys who have experienced amazing success (statistical only for you, Dan!), and done so to a degree that no one that successful would ever care to admit if they thought about it before they spoke.

I love that Brady essentially has admitted that a rivalry exists, and thus indirectly that Jets are a threat in his eyes. No more "it's big because it's a division game, not because it's the Jets" high-horse bullshit is even remotely believable from this prick anymore.

I'm just imagining how long the day for old Tommy Boy is going to be when he has to face this defense without Mankins and Kaczur. Running his yap isn't going to help him when the Jets place 9 men in the box and Revis is forcing Moss to give up on plays again.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/08/25/mark-sanchez-i-love-the-patriots-i-love-tom-brady/

Posted by Michael David Smith on August 25, 2010 8:30 AM ET

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said this week that he hates the Jets, while Jets coach Rex Ryan said he hates the Patriots.

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is declining to escalate the situation.

Asked if the feeling of hatred was mutual, Sanchez said, "No, I love the Patriots. I love Tom."

Then Sanchez looked into a TV camera and said, "I love you, Tom."

Whatever Sanchez thinks of Brady, there's no doubt that Jets and Patriots fans are happy to see fuel added to the rivalry. And Sanchez knows that every Jets-Patriots game is a big game.

"[Brady's comment] doesn't matter," Sanchez said. "It's neither here nor there. We respect the heck out of them. I think he's a great quarterback, it's a great franchise, and we need to bring our best when we play them -- every time."

The next time the Jets and Patriots meet is September 19 at New Meadowlands Stadium. Get your popcorn ready.

    Hmmm. :eek:hmy:

Yea that was the Ravens game last year I think... Ray Lewis was not happy about Brady getting a couple cheap roughing the passer calls.

Oh shit. I was in New Orleans drinking my ass off at Ryan's Pub before going to the Dome for the game and I vaguely remember the Pats getting not one, but two very questionable personal foul calls in their favor on pivotal 3rd downs. We were all going nuts in that place. Definitely not deserved.
I still remember when Hobson hit him AS HE WAS THROWING the ball and someone (maybe Coleman) INTed the ball and returned it all the way inside the 5, and, sure as shit, they got Hobson for a 15-yarder, even though it can clear he hit him and the ball was thrown at the same time. It's almost always BS with this guy.

    :Flashback:

:Flashes back to the press conference:

Sanchez - "I Love You Tom"

But on a serious note, good for Tom becoming the Jets public enemy #1, he'll enjoy his ass on the turf in the new stadium with thousands of Jet fans screaming and yelling for Tom Brady's head

In my opinion he's been Public Enemy #1 for about nine years now. He and Belichick are 1 and 1A but Belichick wasn't scaring anyone until Brady got there.
