I used that number as an example, but I'm sure they'll put a clause in the contract that will require Revis to pay back the money if he ever decides to hold out again. The money will be protected somehow.

  2. I was trying to think if there were any writers who take a more anti-Jets slant than Cimini...then I saw Florio's name pop up.

    His hatred is so transparent.

Ross Greeneberg(HBO) is on WFAN right now. Boomer and Carton asked if Revis will be on tonight

"Hahah well your putting me on the spot" he wont answer the question

Ok, then go the other way. If Andre Johnson held out and signed a new deal this year, would it be that big of a deal to you or me? Probably not. It would be a story, but not a huge deal.

Shit he was on the air for 1 minute, and got off right away.

He said anything that Revis does today will NOT be on the show. Hint TODAY not on the show.

Yeah but Johnson isn't the best offensive player in the league on the best offense in the league. I'd say if was Peyton Manning or Tom Brady it would be a huge deal but not Andre Johnson.

I have no idea what rules you're looking at, but the rules I'm looking at say absolutely nothing about a signing bonus being exempt from future salary cap implications:

I can't remember a sports story ever being so strange. All the conflicting reports with each side seeming cock sure about themselves is wacky.

    wtf man

Yeah it would just make it to next week's episode, this is what ... the 4th Episode of a 6 episode series for Hard Knocks?

That would be sick if it was a season finale episode, people (including me) have mentioned that before.

I think he will be back tomorrow, he needs to be back by the 3rd preseason game
