Tanny's one of the shrewdest GMs in the league, so if the crazy message board prognostications somehow become reality I have full confidence that the Jets will end up getting a haul for the best defensive player in the league whose rights are held for multiple years in the future.

A trade at this point would not be something the Jets would seek out because they've got all the leverage, so in this crazy hypothetical it would be the trading partner who would be stepping up with the Godfather offer.

I'd hate to see him go but it would definitely be exciting.

im not sure if this was said already but the odds that tc's source is someone from revis's camp are slim to none... tc said that the guy is reliable and is rarely wrong... someone from the revis camp wouldn't be an everyday source who is often used.

I doubt there are any trade winds right now between Dallas and the jets considering they are arguably the 2 most media followed franchises in the nfl right now. Someone would've definitely broke the story by now.

Another possibility as to why Revis is in Dallas: Anyone consider that he has to stay in playing shape in case a deal is close to being completed? There are alot of professional football training schools in TX including :cough cough: Prime U. Doing so in TX lets him concentrate on his training and removes him from the media circus this whole story has become in the tri state area. Just another aspect to consider.
