if we were going to trade him, I would like to think we wouldnt trade him to a serious contender in the NFC. Sure its better than say trading him to indianapolis or any other top AFC squad, but i feel like we could trade him to a fringe NFC team like Arizona or San Fran or whatever.

 

There is no reason to trade Mevi$. It would be dumb to do so unless Jones has a player of equivalent value to offer which he doesn't. Ware is about to decline. Much better to let Mevi$ sit out for years and not get paid.

No GM has ever let a player sit multiple years that I can recall. That would be the dumbest move imaginable. That's a natural reaction for a fan, full of emotion, but it's completely unreasonable as a business and competitive decision.
