So the Cowboys are going to get rid of one of the most dominant DEs in the game for one of the most dominant CBs in a game? I highly doubt it. DEs that can get to the QB are more important.
Yeah, DeMarcus Ware, a nickel back and a draft pick would do it. Ware is 28 already and very likely to hit a decline phase in a few years. He might maintain value like Jason Taylor did but most superstar linebackers are slowing by 31 or 32.
The other thing that makes Dallas a possibility is that Jerry Jones was bound by the top 8 rules, like the Jets, and didn't spend any real cash in free agency. Assuming the new stadium doesn't have him badly in hock he's probably got a bunch of cash sitting around idle at the moment.
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (4AM Email - Revis in by Thursday?) That's old rumor junk. The Jets would not trade him. Unless someone offered us 10 first round picks and their starting cb's. No way it is happening.
People really need to stop pulling shit out of their asses. Where the hell did any media source indicate anything about Revis being traded to Dallas?
Unless Dallas offers a king's ransom (Ware, Felix Jones and a 1st) I don't think there's a slight change we trade him there.
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (4AM Email - Revis in by Thursday?) Wow. This thread should be closed for the night. Jet fans ascertain from a random report of a maybe Dallas based interview that Revis is being traded. In what world does this make any sense?
The Darrelle Revis Holdout Thread (4AM Email - Revis in by Thursday?) Yeah that's why I through out my sarcastic trade offer. Lol I'm with you.
