I was re-watching the jags-dolphins game last night and I specifically watch Tyson. I have to say, I was not impressed with him at all. He seemed to be over powered by every lineman and kept trying to do a spin move that looked rediculous and got him nowhere. Anyone else watch the game and have any other comments on him?

Not a 1st pick at all... the Jags WAY over-drafted him... tough shit for them though...

I was shocked when I heard his name being called @ #10

In all fairness, Miami's offensive line ain't bad

Alualu was definately over drafted, and frankly, there is very little chance he lives up to his top 10 draft position. I think he could be a solid player, and well worth a second round pick, but top 10 is a no go.

I still think the Jags were going to draft Spiller, and when the bills took him, they had no real backup plan prepared and just totally fucked up. I have no idea why they passed on Earl Thomas but hey whatever

I agree he was over drafted but it's still preseason and he has more time to prove himself.

If you think of him as a fringe 1st rounder. He'll have a good career

if you think of Vernon Gholston as a fringe UDFA he might have had a good career so far.

I realize its apples to oranges, but the point is you can't say he is something hes not.

To be fair, Gholston was pegged as a top 10 pick all throughout the draft.

Alualu highest grade was mid 20s

I missed the 1st qtr due to work........ but He criticized himself in the local papers saying he was disappointed in his performance.

Alot of my friends are season ticket holders so I'll be paying attention to this... for trash talk material.

At the time I thought for sure that Earl Thomas would be the pick. Although pulling off a few trade-downs to grab Tebow would've been good for a purely business perspective. (no, I'm not saying he'll be a great QB, but he'd put asses in the seats in his hometown)
