    Actually, on a more serious note, you might be right about this being damage control. Maybe a statement for ESPN, SNY type deal...

    About the TV interview:

    Both parties agreed to a media silence. If Revis is going to talk, it should abide by the agreement, unless a deal is done or just about finished (or is so far from being done that they are giving up).

    I agree. With the Jets seemingly out of the loop until the meeting tonight I wonder if Revis is now prepared to just sign a band-aid contract hoping to iron something out long term once the CBA has been finalized.

    also which station is going to air it? we will probably know by like tonight. Probably ESPN at 6:00 sportcenter, my guess.
