Thats what I was thinking, Revis will be signing hopefully at this meeting.

 

No, Brick got a good amount of guaranteed money too. The Jets can only guarantee against skill or injury, so it's no "fully guaranteed" in either case, unless they are on the roster in January (I think)

Revis taped TV interview yesterday to air Wednesday. Not part of "Hard Knocks" I don't think. Checking now to find out what said. half a minute ago via web

 

I have a feeling that this will be a ridiculously complex contract, so I'm hoping that they can get it signed tonight, but I think it will be a few days (Thursday according to ESPN 1050) before it's completely final.

 

After all this, there is no way Revis comes back without having his new deal. Revis will be signed by 4am tonight and be back at practice thursday afternoon.

He wont be at the morning practice because hes gonna be up all night waiting to click refresh on his online banking website to see the new millions he is gonna have.

The Mangold deal was announced before that part was worked out and it only took a couple of days.

 

Revis should fire those 2 clowns he's got representing him....and hire Mangold's agent to represent him.

In comparison to the Revis situation....Mangold's was on the opposite side of the spectrum....and all parties walked away happy.

 

Ya that makes sense, and lets not forget TC said he would be signing at earliers Wednesday and latest Saturday

 

I don't know when they had their last meeting but I am guessing if they don't make real progress tonight he won't be here for the start of the season.

 

@JetsKvetch well, he's going to sign with the jets, not the dolphins. And he's going to play this season.

Tannenbaum and Woody knew all along they would pay him, they just tried to scare him and hoped he would budge. And if he didn't budge they would just pay him by week 3 preseason.
